Well, it ended differently than it was supposed to, but only from my perspective. From the more important perspective, that of Habitat for Humanity's, it couldn't have ended any better. Although everyone who pledged was given the option of paying only on actual miles, every single person paid the full amount of their pledge, even if they had pledged for a day which ended up without any actual miles at all. The best part of the whole ride was the short trip to deliver $3,642.50 to the local Habitat office.
It has taken me three years to finish this site, yet looking over the diary and maps makes it all seem like yesterday. I have continued to bike avidly, putting over 2,500 miles on Moo in the past year. Many things have changed, but many things have stayed the same. The open road still calls, and I occasionally still find time to listen.
