I followed my proposed biking route via van from Long Prairie to Star Lake. Although slightly hillier than the previous days' terrain, it would have been beautiful. Again I would have had to do some re-routing due to gravel roads.
The route in North Dakota would have been laughable. There just isn't a paved road anywhere near I-94 that would get me from Fargo to Bismarck. West of Bismarck I took Old Hwy 10 to New Salem, which would have had some visibility problems and broken pavement, but would have been tolerable.
Even though I was in the van, I made the pilgrimage to Salem Sue, the world's largest Holstein and introduced her to Moo.
